Our Story
Gummy Galaxy was founded by three friends, Sagar Dahal, Bhupendra Bista, and Sumit Silwal, who shared a simple idea: bring high-quality, nostalgic sweets to customers across the UK.
Like many good ideas, this one started with a simple chat and a strong craving. The founders grew up in different parts of the UK, yet their sweet memories looked oddly similar. Pocket money in one hand. The other hand holding a paper bag. A serious debate over who got the last fizzy bottle.
Then adult life turned up. Work got busy. Days got fuller. However, the nostalgic feelings brought up by a childhood favourite never truly fade.
One evening, while talking about the sweets they used to buy so easily, the founders kept coming back to the same question. Why did so many online sweet shops feel inconsistent? One order would be wonderful. The next one would feel tired, messy, or rushed. That did not sit right with them.
So they built Gummy Galaxy.
Their goal was simple. Create a sweet shop that felt fun, modern, and easy to trust. A place where retro classics, fizzy favourites, gummies, and gift-ready pouches all lived under one roof. Or, in their case, one galaxy.
As the saying goes, good things come to those who wait. But good sweets should not be so hard to find.

How We Work
Storage & Stock Rotation
We store sweets in a clean, dry, temperature-controlled space away from heat, sunlight, and moisture. We keep each variety in sealed food-safe containers and rotate stock so sweets do not sit around longer than they should.
Clean Packing Process
We handle orders in a clean packing area using gloves, clean scoops, and sanitised surfaces. We weigh and pack your sweets after you order, not weeks before.
Quality Checks & Packaging
We check the selection, appearance, seal, and presentation before dispatch. We pack sweets in food-safe pouches that help keep them fresh in transit. Many orders are sent in resealable pouches.
Delivery & Dispatch
We process orders within 1 to 3 business days, and once shipped, standard delivery is usually 2 to 4 business days or 3 to 5 working days depending on the service shown on-site and at checkout. We currently deliver across the UK, and free delivery applies on orders over £30.
How We Select Our Sweets
Every sweet on the site has to earn its place.
We do not try to list everything under the sun. That usually leads to a bloated range and too many products that nobody remembers five minutes later. Instead, we focus on sweets people actually want to eat again.
First, taste matters. If it does not hit the mark, it does not make the cut.
Second, texture matters. A gummy should have the right chew. A fizzy sweet should still feel lively. A foam sweet should not feel like it has given up on life.
Third, appearance matters. Sweets are meant to feel fun before you even open the bag.
Fourth, ingredients matter. We work with established confectionery suppliers who meet UK food safety rules and quality standards, and we want product pages to help customers check suitability before ordering.
Then comes freshness. We rotate stock, store products carefully, and pack to order because sweets should taste like sweets, not like they have been sat in a bin since last term.
